If you are sitting A/L ICT in 2027, you have probably already found out two things. Good A/L ICT material in Sinhala is hard to find, and most study apps were not made for the phone in your hand.

I teach A/L ICT, and I built ICT Campus to fix both. This post shows you what is inside, what is free, and how to use it to find the units that are costing you marks.

Limited time: two months free. Create your account by 31 December 2026 and the A/L ICT study app is free for two months instead of seven days. Phone number only, no card. Claim two months free

A dashboard that does not make you feel behind

Most study apps open on a wall of percentages. For a student who already feels behind, that screen only says one thing.

So the ICT Campus dashboard opens on a picture instead: the Nine Arch Bridge at Demodara, near Ella, with a train crossing. The lit windows stand for students studying on ICT Campus, and once you have studied today, one window turns orange. That one is yours. There is no leaderboard telling you that you are 47th. Just the feeling that you are not studying alone tonight.

Your dashboard in the afternoon. The one thing to do next is the orange button.

The sky is the real sky where you are. At night it is night, and if it is raining in your town, it rains over the bridge. Your location is never asked for when the page opens, it is rounded to about 11 km, and it is never stored.

The deadlines are small enough to win: keep your streak until midnight, and reach your weekly goal by Sunday. There is no exam countdown. The 2027 exam date has not been announced, and a clock ticking down to an unknown day only adds stress.

Free A/L ICT unit tests: find the units costing you marks

If you only do one thing after reading this, do this. Each of the 13 units has a free 10-question test in the style of Paper I. You get 12 minutes and your marks the moment you finish, with every answer explained. Your best score on each unit is saved, so you can see at a glance which units are weak.

Start with the unit you think you know best. If you score lower than you expected there, that tells you more than any study plan will. Take a free A/L ICT unit test.

A/L ICT short notes that draw themselves

The Complete Short Notes cover every examined lesson from units 1 to 13 in English and Sinhala. Each unit opens with a header whose drawing traces itself in, so you see the unit's big idea before you read a word.

One memory holds the program and its data. The CPU fetches, decodes and executes, over and over.

Every unit also has one step-by-step animation of its hardest idea. For Unit 2 that is the fetch-execute cycle. You watch the address leave the MAR on the address bus, the instruction come back on the data bus, and each register change, one step at a time. It plays once and then waits for you, so you can step back and forward at your own speed.

Step 2 of 10: the address 100 goes out on the address bus, the only one-way bus.

The figures are drawn the way you should draw them in Paper II. Figure 2.3a even tells you how to get full marks for it in its caption.

The Short Notes are paid (Rs 2,900, or included in the Exam Pack), but you can read the free one-line-per-objective summary of the whole syllabus without signing in.

Built for Sinhala medium, not translated afterwards

Switch between Sinhala and English from the sidebar at any time. Technical words like streak, unit test, SQL and XP stay in English, because that is how you say them out loud and how the exam paper prints them. The app also loads a proper Sinhala font, so the letters are clear and not cramped on a small screen.

Code Lab: pseudocode, spreadsheets and SQL on your phone

Programming is where many A/L ICT students lose easy marks, and not everyone has a laptop. Code Lab runs pseudocode in the style of the A/L textbooks, spreadsheets and SQL right in the browser on your phone.

One question a day: the A/L ICT MCQ of the day

The easiest habit to keep is the smallest one. The A/L ICT MCQ of the day is one real question from the 2026 Paper I each day, in Sinhala or English. Your streak is kept on your own phone, and you don't need to sign in.

Today's question: 2026 Paper I, question 38, Programming.

For quick revision there are also free pages on logic gates and truth tables and number systems and two's complement, worked step by step.

A simple plan for the next four weeks

  1. This week: take three unit tests: one unit you are strong in, one you are weak in, and Unit 9 (Programming).
  2. Every day: answer the MCQ of the day. It takes two minutes and keeps your streak going.
  3. Weeks 2 and 3: go back to your two lowest units. Read the notes, then take the test again and beat your score.
  4. Week 4: finish the remaining units so you have a score for all 13. Now you know exactly where your marks are.

Limited time: the study app free for two months

Usually the free trial is seven days. If you create your account by 31 December 2026, it is two months. It includes practice questions unit by unit with every answer explained, Code Lab, and the mock exams and class notes in the app as they are added. You only need your phone number, no card, and nothing is charged when the two months end.

The offer is for new accounts only. The Short Notes, the Exam Pack and one-to-one sessions are not part of it.
